3 members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers took part in a rare book signing in Los Angeles earlier today and I-Spy Celebrity was there. Just before the book signing at Barnes and Noble at The Grove in LA Michael “Flea” Balzary, Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith talked with Mario Lopez from “Extra”.

Their book “The Red Hot Chili Peppers: An Oral/Visual History” is their first official biography and provides an excellent look inside the band.  The band also announced, on a LA radio show that they would have a new album out in 2011. It is a follow up to the 2006 Stadium Arcadium ablum.

RHCP stepped into the Barnes and Noble just before noon and posed for photogs and then were off to sign book for a few hundred fans that showed up several hours in advance of the 12pm book signing.
