George Lopez Wants to Host “SNL” and then be Mayor of Los Angeles

In an interview on Good Day LA on the FOX affiliate in LA this morning comedian George Lopez says that he wants to host Satuday Night Live. When asked why he had not gotten the chance to host the show he joked that it was because of a beef that he and Loren Michaels had over the Eddie Murphy Gumby skits.

Lopez wants someone to start a Facebook and Twitter campaign as people did to get Betty White on SNL Don’t be surprised if you see that go up at some time today!

Later in the interview Lopez said, “Although I probably can’t pass the background checkiIn 8 years I want to run for Mayor of LA”. When asked by Good Day LA‘s Steve Edwards if he was serious Lopez said “If Arnold Schwarzenegger can be governor of California then I can be Mayor of LA!” He also added that the hispanic population of LA with be 96.4 percent in 8 years when he runs giving him a good chance to win. Lopez set the 8 year timeline for running likely because that will be about the end of his contract with TBS. Right now Lopez says that he is very much enjoying his show “Lopez Tonight“.

Demi Lovato – UPDATE

According to reports it seems that Lovato’s problems might stem from being bullied as a kid.

I-Spy has heard that as a kid Lovato was bullied because of her acting career among other things. This even led to her leaving school and opting for home schooling according to what she told Ellen DeGeneres when she appeared on her show in 2008.

Some news outlets here in L.A. are reporting that the bullying led to an eating disorder and the much worse destructive behavior of cutting.

It’s hard enough these days growing up in a positive environment with what is going on in the world. It has to be 10 times worse dealing with others that are jealous of your success. Everyone here at I-Spy wishes Demi Lovato the best in her recovery of dealing with these issues.

As we always say, “Be nice to EVERYONE you meet, you never know when you might need them on your side!”

Disneyland was the place to be on Saturday!

On Saturday October 30th there were several celebrity sightings at Disneyland!

All of these stars were spotted by Twitter users at some point during the day on Saturday.  Twitter has become a big tool for celebrity “hunters”.

We did have one personal sighting by a I-Spy staffer. He saw Tommy Lasorda and friends leaving Napa Rose last night around 9:15pm.  No luck in finding Kobe Bryant though who was believed to have been in the restaurant around the same time.
